i like technology! heres the list of technology i own along with history or things i find interesting about it :D
this might be the oldest piece of tech that ive kept over the years, being all the way back in 2019! i never had one growing up, but i had been looking at getting one for a few months before i bought it... the thing that got me to bite the bullet was dankpods. he only had two videos when i saw him and the thing that got me really convinced was his 1tb ipod video. i never had plans to put a stupid amount of storage in mine, but the fact you can do stupid things to a device thats (now) 20 years old really got me hooked.
my ipod is nearly a prometheus ship, only three components havent been changed out. the screen, metal framing and motherboard. everything else, even the screws were lost replaced! :3c
the ipod originally had a 30gb hard drive and a 600mah battery, which has been upgraded to a 32gb sd card and a 3000mah. while the sd card isnt bigger since i am slowly increasing my music collection, its still a huge benifet so i can have a bigger battery! the sd card also makes scrolling and skipping through music a bit faster and less prone to breaking everyday when i drop it.
i found this laptop on the sidewalk while i was taking the bus home from work. its pretty powerful and a great device that im actually writing this webpage on right now! below are the specs of the trashtop :3

currently i have linux mint installed, but i am thinking about installing gentoo or maybe void linux on this, however i most likely wont hop to another distro as i dont have a ton of time to maintain my install to my liking :(
